Brian Campbell - Associate Lawyer
Brian Campbell is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Bar in 1975. He subsequently obtained his LLM in civil litigation and ADR from York University. Prior to being called to the Bar, Brian graduated with honours from the University of Toronto and went on to obtain an MA and MPhil in political science and international politics, also from the University of Toronto.
Brian practices exclusively in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on administrative law litigation, and construction litigation and liens. He has appeared before boards, tribunals and discipline committees throughout Ontario and has practiced extensively in the Superior Court, Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal.
Brian has been an instructor with the Bar Admissions Course in public law for many years, and has written articles on a variety of subjects connected with builders and developers in Ontario and on professional disciplinary issues. In addition, he has published many papers on other legal issues as they relate to specific industries and to the legal profession in general.
Brian currently writes newsletters on legal issues of interest to the public and to builders alike on residential new home construction and ownership, including breach of warranty, construction deficiencies and breach of contract disputes.
