Bruce D. Day - Partner

A graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School in 1977, Bruce D. Day was called to the Bar in 1979. He began his own practice in Toronto specializing in civil litigation, and joined Black Sutherland LLP in 1992.

Bruce has extensive experience in personal injury litigation, acting both for the plaintiffs and defendants. While most of these cases are resolved by settlements, Bruce has demonstrated that he is an extremely capable trial counsel when the need arises.

Bruce is also experienced in resolving matrimonial matters, and has acted for both plaintiffs and defendants in wrongful dismissal cases. He has also successfully acted in a variety of business, commercial and estate litigation matters. His practice includes numerous appearances in the Ontario Court of Appeal.

Bruce’s interests outside of law include golf, tennis, skiing, travelling and spending time with his family at his cottage.
