Clarence Lui - Associate Lawyer

Clarence Lui practices in the area of civil litigation, with a focus on commercial litigation, and property and commercial liability insurance defence. He has experience in handling complex commercial and insurance coverage disputes, including fidelity and directors’ and officers’ insurance claims, and in giving advice on bills of exchange, employee dishonesty and insurance fraud issues.

Clarence earned a BA in economics in 1998 and an LLB in 2001, both from the University of Western Ontario. While at law school, he received the Paul Bradley Award in real estate law and was the co-director of the Dispute Resolution Centre, a non-profit mediation centre, where he actively promoted and provided mediation services to the university and local community.

Called to the Bar of Ontario in 2002, Clarence is a member of the Advocates’ Society, Canadian Defence Lawyers and the Toronto Lawyers Association. He has appeared before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Divisional Court.
