Lynn Turnbull - Senior Partner

Prior to pursuing a career in law, D. Lynn Turnbull spent nine years in the insurance industry in progressively responsible positions, during which time she attained her Chartered Insurance Professionals Society designation. She attended Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1996. Lynn is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Defence Lawyers, the Toronto Lawyers Association, the Canadian Maritime Law Association, the Women’s Law Association of Ontario, the Toronto Insurance Women’s Association and the Insurance Institute of Canada.

Lynn has developed a varied litigation practice with an emphasis on insurance defence work and, in particular, motor vehicle, occupiers’ liability and personal injury claims. She also handles property losses and transportation claims. During her legal career, Lynn has acquired extensive courtroom experience in the Superior Court of Justice.

Lynn understands that her clients need to be kept apprised of any developments in the law and can be called upon to conduct seminars on risk management issues and motor vehicle claims. She has also conducted a seminar on the transportation of dangerous goods for the Marine Loss Group.
