Adam holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a minor in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University. Subsequent to his studies at Laurier, he obtained his Juris Doctorate from Queen’s University in 2016. Adam completed his articles with Black Sutherland LLP and was called to the Ontario bar in 2017.

Adam maintains a wide ranging practice, focusing on litigation, municipal law, and licensing matters. His broad litigation practice focuses on insurance defence matters, including motor vehicle accident claims, occupiers’ liability claims, property damage claims, and commercial general liability (CGL) claims. He also handles commercial matters, involving contractual breaches and corporate disputes. Adam’s municipal law practice includes planning, zoning, and minor variance zoning applications, as well as defending provincial and municipal offence charges. His licensing practice assists clients with all stages of liquor licensing, retail cannabis licensing, and business licensing.

Adam has advocated for clients before all levels of courts in Ontario, the Federal Court of Canada, the Ontario Land Tribunal, the Toronto Local Appeal Body, and the Workplace Safety and Insurance Appeal Tribunal. He has assisted with several jury trials and successfully argued many contested motions.

In addition to being a member of Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations, Adam is a member of the Canadian Defence Lawyers and Toronto Lawyers Association.

In his spare time, Adam is a sports fanatic and avid follower of all Toronto teams.
