Colin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Philosophy from Ryerson University. After completing his undergraduate studies, Colin obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario in 2017. Colin completed his articles with Black Sutherland LLP and was called to the Ontario bar in 2018.
While studying law at Western, Colin was passionate about Charter issues and prominent Supreme Court cases, as well as volunteering with the Community Legal Services clinic as part of his desire to serve the community. Colin volunteered with CLS for three semesters, handling a wide variety of pro-bono files including civil litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, family, and criminal matters.
Colin is a member of the insurance defence group, and his practice focuses largely on motor vehicle accidents and occupiers’ liability claims.
In addition to being a member of the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations, Colin is a member of the Canadian Defence Lawyers and the Toronto Lawyers Association.
In his spare time, Colin an avid reader and a practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
