Jenelle graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2011. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto in 2016. She was called to the Ontario bar after completing her articles with Black Sutherland LLP.
During her final year at the University of Toronto, Jenelle was the recipient of the John Yaremko Award in Human Rights, a prize awarded for outstanding academic achievement in the area of human rights law. She also served as the Program Director for the Ontario Family Law Project, a legal clinic operated by the University of Toronto that provides free family law services to individuals across the country.
Jenelle is a member of the insurance defence group. Her primary areas of practice include motor vehicle accidents and occupiers’ liability claims. She is also developing her expertise in commercial and municipal law matters.
Jenelle is a member of the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations, Canadian Defence Lawyers and Toronto Lawyers Association.
