Keenan earned his undergraduate degree in Biology and Economics at Dalhousie University, followed by a law degree at the University of New Brunswick.
In law school, Keenan excelled in debating competitions and received awards for written and oral advocacy and constitutional law.
Since his call to the Ontario Bar in 2011, Keenan has gained a broad range of civil litigation experience. He has successfully argued matters before the Superior Court of Justice and the Court of Appeal for Ontario, as well as numerous provincial and federal administrative tribunals.
He is a member of the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations, Canadian Defence Lawyers, and the Toronto Lawyers Association. A list of Keenan’s publicly reported court decisions may be found here.
