Dale graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Law in 2012. He received his JD from Queens University in 2015 and was called to the Bar in 2016. While in law school, Dale represented low-income residents as part of the Queens Legal Aid program.
Before joining Black Sutherland in 2021, Dale worked for a boutique plaintiff personal injury firm where he gained valuable experience representing injured parties in motor vehicle claims, occupier’s liability claims, employment law matters and small claims matters. He also spent several years working for one of the largest insurance defence boutique firms in the country representing various insurance companies in all insurance related matters including MVA claims, accident benefits claims, occupier’s liability claims, misrepresentation claims, suspicious loss claims, loss transfer claims, priority claims, Examination under Oath, subrogation claims and property damage claims. As a result, Dale has unique insight into both sides of the litigation process. Dale carries a varied insurance defence practice with Black Sutherland LLP.
Outside of law, Dale enjoys playing hockey, cheering for the Leafs, and spending time with his friends and family.
