Patrick is a member of the insurance defence group at Black Sutherland. His areas of practice include motor vehicle accidents occupiers’ liability claims.
Patrick received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Western University in 2008 where he majored in Political Science. He obtained his Juris Doctor from The University of Ottawa in 2012, graduating Cum Laude. Patrick completed his articles with a civil litigation firm in Durham Region before being called to the bar in 2013.
Prior to joining Black Sutherland in 2021, Patrick was a Project Manager for one of the world’s largest and most reputable eDiscovery firms. In this role, he assisted a diverse group of clients from across North America implement efficient and legally defensible discovery solutions for matters involving immense volumes of data. He also assisted clients with their disclosure obligations to several regulatory bodies, including the Competition Bureau of Canada and the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
In his spare time, Patrick is mostly likely watching a Maple Leafs or Blue Jays game.
