RSM Canada: Bob Sutherland on Black Sutherland’s growth

Bob Sutherland recently spoke with RSM Canada about the start and growth of Black Sutherland LLP. Black Sutherland LLP was started in 1922. Bob Sutherland joined the firm in 1985, which at that time only had 4 lawyers. Since 1985, the firm has grown and expanded to now have about 18 lawyers.

Bob also spoke to Black Sutherland’s hiring policy and celebration of diversity. The policy since the beginning of the firm has always been to hire the best person for the job.
