D. Lynn Turnbull presented at Tricks of the Trade, an all-day continuing legal education seminar, on January 27, 2017. This event is held annually and is widely attended. Her topic was the Top 10 Court Cases of 2016.

Nicholas T. Macos completes the divestiture of the Port Stanley Harbour from Transport Canada to the Municipality of Central Elgin. The transaction vests the Municipality with substantial waterfront property to be remediated by Transport Canada for parkland purposes and a fund of over $13.5 Million to address future infrastructure requirements.

In a motion brought on behalf of the defendants after the jury retired to render its verdict, our firm was successful in obtaining an order that the plaintiff has failed to satisfy the threshold that she sustained a permanent and serious impairment arising from the motor vehicle accident.
