Kellie graduated from University of Western Ontario in 2007, with an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Criminology. She obtained her Master of Arts Degree at Queen’s University in 2009. She received her Juris Doctor from University of Western Ontario in 2012 and was called to the bar in 2013.
Kellie practiced law at a litigation boutique in downtown Toronto prior to joining Black Sutherland as an Associate in 2019. She has extensive experience handling insurance defence matters at all stages of litigation. She had regularly appeared at the Superior Court of Justice, including jury trials. She has also appeared at Small Claims Court, Ontario Court of Justice, the Landlord and Tenant Board, and the WSIAT.
Kellie is a member of the insurance defence group at Black Sutherland. Her areas of practice include motor vehicle accidents, products’ liability, occupiers’ liability and general civil litigation.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.
